HAPPY 49th BIRTHDAY SINGAPORE! and my 5 favourite childhood snacks

Today, Singapore turns 49 years old (well, not really but you get the point). It's been 49 years since Singapore went independent and since then, this little country has grown a lot. Now, I'm not going to start talking about the Singapore history because that'll be lengthy I am, however, going to talk about my 5 most favorite childhood snacks.  Here we go!

(not in order)
Number 1:
These lovely babies are the bomb. Just pop these tiny little rectangles of heaven into your mouth and you will not stop.  They come in 3 different packages; green for chicken, yellow for vegetables and red for chicken(?). This thing is what fueled my days in ITE(which was like one year ago) and they go out really fast. PLUS, it's really cheap!

Number 2
Are you too lazy to cook up some instant noodles or cup noodles? No time? Well Mamee is the choice for you! It's not really instant noodles but it looks like the uncooked ones. Just tear the packaging, sprinkle the seasoning, cover it up, smash it like you would smash and enemy and eat these babies up.

Number 3
Ahh, the Super Ring! This are the ultimate childhood snack. I remember walking back home after school and going to the convenient store behind my block to get this finger licking snack. When I open up these babies I'll take five rings, put then all on my fingers and eat them. Until today, I still fight with my sister over this things because we can never share them. Some things never change I guess.

Number 4
Green peas snack is another childhood favorite. As a child, I wasn't fond of green peas, but these things? I can go through them like it's the last food on Earth. MSG makes you ravenous apparently, the more you know.

Number 5
Dried fish filet,  not the most appetizing name but delicious nonetheless. These things are like weed, once you eat, you cannot stop and before long, you realize that you have finished a whole pack in like 10 minutes.

So that's my list of 5 favorite childhood snacks. What's your favorite? I'd like to know.
