Food Adventure : The Finest Tea Shop
Well Hello everyone! HBG is back again! Wee! Okay, actually I'm Atiqa, one of the bloggers (and I personally think the blog is dead and in need of some updates, hence I'm updating on the behalf of my girls.) and I would like to share with you guys regarding a cafe that I tried out yesterday. Well, good things must share right? Haha! So, are you guys ready? Prepare some sticky notes or whatever papers that you're going to write on it because the excitement is getting started. So, shall we? Hehe:)
So, the cafe that I tried out yesterday was.......*drumrolls* The Finest Tea Shop! Ta-daah! Some of you guys might have been wondering where is this cafe located, what does they sell and is this Halal. Okay, so here's the details.
The Finest Tea Shop is located at 4 Changi Village Road, #01-2060. Some of you might have notice that there used to be a shop named Sarah Rose located at this shop. However, that shop was closed and The Finest Tea Shop is now currently located at that shop. And fret not, this cafe is Halal. So, go there and try them out!The Finest Tea Shop sell a variety of food and drinks. They have burgers, mee rebus, nasi lemak, desserts and many more (well I forgot to snap a photo of their menu once again. Sorry for the inconvenience.) Sounds good right? Yeahhh~
This is how the cafe looks like. :)
Their interior design.
Okay, I admit that I'm actually lazy to snap a photo the desserts that they display but you can see that there's plenty of dessert that they have.
So, I purchased these 4 desserts - Salted Caramel cupcake, Ondeh-ondeh cupcake, Pandan Gula Melaka Cake & Ovomaltine Cheesecake Tart.
Okay, this cupcake literally blows my mind away the moment i tasted it. Like seriously. I've tried many salted caramel cupcakes but, this cupcake really taste the best. Their fluffiness of the cupcake & the whipped cream taste is just right. And this cupcake cost $3 each. I mean whaaaaat? This cheap? I'm definitely going back there again and eat them up!
Okay, this cupcake really meet my expectation. To be honest, Ondeh-Ondeh is actually a Malay traditional kuih. When ondeh-ondeh was "transformed" into a cupcake, woahhhhh it actually taste better. As you can see, there's some sweetness in the middle of the cupcake (below picture). The thing in the middle is mixture of sugar and coconut flakes. Overall, it's really delicious. And this cupcake cost $3 each. Worth it? Definitely worth it! You won't regret trying this out guys! :)
This cheesecake tart, I FINISHED IT ALL BY MYSELF. Can you guys believe it? It's totally delicious, so no need to explain la eh. You guys have to try this one out. This cheesecake tart cost $5.20 for a slice. Even though it's a bit pricey, this tart definitely need to be try out. You guys will for sure fall in love with this cheesecake tart!
Okay, lastly, this cake...... no need to explain la. Seriously, this cake is so good that this cake was gone within 5 minutes. Well, that explains how nice and delicious it is. This cake cost $6.90 for a slice. Yes, I have to agree that it's a bit expensive, but if it taste good, you wouldn't mind to pay for it and try it out right?
And lastly, the receipt.
Oh, and I forgot to mention that I also purchased a cup of tea as well. There's many different kind of teas that they offer, so it's up to you guys to choose what type of tea you prefer. :)
So, what are you guys waiting for? Hurry go and try them out! The faster you guys try them out, the faster you guys can recommend other people to try them out!
