Food Adventure: Post Exam celebratory dinners!
Ah exams, the stressful time for all students worldwide. It's the time there's hair pulling, frustrated crying and overall madness. For us the hungry broke girls, we too had to face the trials of school life. Luckily for us, we only had 2 exams but that doesn't make the process much easier of course for us. Monday and Thursday were the days of our exams and fortunately, it was in the afternoon. Had lunch before our exams, tackled the papers and after that we had two dinners to soothe our tortured souls.
You probably didn't know this about us but we like to spend as little as possible for meals but we do love our food so our alternative was to be super Singaporeans and use up vouchers we got. So on Monday we decided we could use the Manhattan Fish Market coupon I picked up to have our meal so off we go to have our 1 for 1 fish and chip meal plus some extra dishes like the calamari and mac and cheese because that's how we roll. Yums.
Some Mac and Cheese action
LOOK AT THE CALAMARI I LOVE CALAMARI.
FISH AND CHIPS what what!
Receipt what what!
On Thursday, we had a brain sucking paper and what way to celebrate than to have pizza? So off we went to the nearest Pizza Hut to have our pizza, 10 pieces of chicken drumlets and a plate of pasta.
And so, let us commence ze food porn!
*insert sexy music here*
Some lovely pizza with tomato sauce, mozzarella, pineapple, cubes of cheese and ham. Mmmmm,
You can never go wrong with chicken because come one now, who doesn't love chicken? Zombies because they only eat brains.
Pasta because why the hell not?
And of course not forgetting the receipt in case you guys think we are lying.
Both lunch/dinner were very fulfilling indeed and worth the money, each of us spent less than 15 bucks for both meals. So guys! Word of advice, never throw away those vouchers you get in the mail or at the stations because they might save you some money for your next meal! AND remember, never feel guilty about celebratory meals because we say so.
PS, this may not be the cheapest meal we had so this is not a review and, I'm pretty sure everyone in Singapore has tried Manhattan Fish Market and Pizza Hut so why review right?
